"Flicker takes the viewer through a magical and abstract story following a young girl, Elisa, her mother and 'Flicker', a joyful light creature Elisa befriends, through their transformation journey.The story is focused around Elisa and her encounter of Flicker who represents the light in the world, the hope, and joy that was lost.The antagonist is the dark and mysterious storm that looms over the horizon; and the dark sickness it causes on Elisa's mom.The meaning of Flicker is open to interpretation of the viewer but the basis of the story is the power of light against darkness, the ability to combat darkness with light and the strength in sharing that light with others."~ Christin Joy Smolinski Lee, Director of Flicker
